Day 1 of the Sensors, Biosystems & Analytics Converge and first ever NC-VVIRAL Symposium started off with an excellent plenary talk by Prof. Dr. Steven Cramer (RPI), followed by interesting advances and perspectives shared by faculty including Prof. Veena Misra, Prof. Michael Dickey, Dr. Taufika I. Williams, Dr. Amanda Mills and Dr. Alper Bozkurt and industry pioneers including Dr. Ravi Chilukuri, Dr. Caroline Smith-Moore, to name a few. Today’s session also hosted two engaging panel conversations on entrepreneurship and scope of advances within analytics in biotechnology. The day concluded with a networking mixer and conversations over graduate student research on display.
